These Lie-Nielsen chisels are in my opinion the best chisels on the market today, beautifully balanced and a joy to use. Finely ground and supplied with the back already flattened by hand to 400 grit. A2 steel hardened to Rockwell 58-60 cryogenically treated and double tempered. Hornbeam handles, socketed to the blade, so no more split handles! These chisels might be expensive but they are worth every penny!
