This is great tool for laying out dovetails quickly and accurately. The Lie-Nielsen attention to detail is just as apparent here, as it is in the planes that made their reputation. A combination of brass and rosewood which, is 45mm square by 25mm deep. The 1:6 slope for soft wood; the 1:7 for hard wood, are clearly marked on the brass stock.
