Bevel edge chisels from Wilhelm Schmitt of Remscheid, Germany with blades made from their own specially developed high carbon steel. The grind of the bevel edge is a little chunky and the polished finish takes some of the crispness off the grinding, so the backs will need some work to get them flat . The handle is a traditional octagonal, continental shape in hornbeam with both top and bottom ferrule. These are remarkably good chisels for a very competitive price!
